Doris Sloan

Doris Sloan is a retired Adjunct Professor in the Dept. of Earth and Planetary Science at UC Berkeley. She has a MS in geology and PhD in paleontology, both from UC Berkeley. She taught in the Environmental Sciences program at UCB, and taught geology for UC Extension. She has led field trips for the Oakland Museum, Sierra Club, Yosemite Association, Pt. Reyes Field Seminars and other organizations. Jeff Inglis

Born in San Francisco and raised primarily in Berkeley, Jeff Inglis graduated from the University of Washington in Seattle with a degree in Geography, served as a volunteer with the Peace Corps in Ecuador, and was employed as a Project Officer and a Site Assessment Manager with the Region IX office of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency in San Francisco, from which he retired in 2011.  In addition to his service on the CESP Board of Directors, Mr. Inglis previously served as a member of both the North Richmond Shoreline Open Space Alliance (NRSOSA) and the Point Molate Restoration Advisory Board (RAB). Helen Burke

A 45-year resident of Berkeley, Helen moved here with her former husband John in 1971. She immediately became active in the Sierra Club and served in leadership roles at the local, state and eventually the national level. She was elected to the national Board of Directors of the Sierra Club in 1977. In 1974 Helen was elected to four terms (16 years) on the East Bay Municipal Utility District (EBMUD) Board of Directors, representing Ward 4, Berkeley, Albany, El Cerrito and parts of No. Oakland. Ellen Barth

Ellen Barth has been a member of local environmental groups for many years, including the Audubon Society and the Sierra Club. A long-time bird watcher, she has taken part in bird monitoring programs for PRBO, Golden Gate Audubon, FWS, and North American Loon Fund. Ed Bennett served as Treasurer and Assistant Treasurer of Citizens for East Shore Parks and has been involved with the organization since its early years. He was on the Berkeley Waterfront Commission for more than eight years, and prior to that he was on the Berkeley Recreation Commission for six years. Teddi Baggins is a home CEO and gardener. Teddi has been an active member of CESP and the Sierra Club's East Bay Public Lands Committee. She is the wife of David Baggins, former chair of the Political Science Department at California State University East Bay. She is the mother of two adult children.
