Patricia Jones is the former Executive Director of Citizens for East Shore Parks (2006-2015). Jones is a committed environmental leader and activist who tirelessly fought for protection of our East Bay shoreline. She ran the Sierra Club’s 2004 environmental voter education campaign in Reno, Nevada; chaired the California/Nevada Regional Conservation Committee; and co-chaired the State Parks Committee. She received the Sierra Club California’s 2013 William Penn Mott award, which recognizes a person who has made a significant contribution to state parks in California. Prior to her foray into environmentalism, Patricia spent fifteen years in marketing research and also served as operations manager of the Virginia winterization campaign. Patricia holds an A.S. in veterinary nursing, a B.A. in history from the University of Virginia and an M.B.A. from San Francisco State University.
