Explore McLaughlin Eastshore State Park at a King Tide, talking about local history, Sylvia McLaughlin’s work for the Bay, what rising sea levels mean for all of us, and how Sylvia’s heritage can guide us.  Bring a camera to photograph King Tides and binoculars to enjoy the wintering waterfowl.  The exact route may depend on conditions.  It will be mostly level, but with possible uneven or muddy stretches.  Wear sturdy shoes and dress in layers for all weather – sun, rain, fog, wind, or all of them!
